Tarot Study Group – II. The High Priestess

We will discuss and work with each of the Trumps first, and then move through the court cards and the pips. We will approach each card from an historic and hermetic perspective and allow the meaning and doctrine of each to blossom and guide us in our future readings. Each group session will have components of an spoken teaching, examination of the art, a meditation or "active imagination" session, and discussion. This is a great group for both those who have been reading Tarot for a while and want to deepen their practice, and those who are new to Tarot and want to start from a strong foundation. This is an equally wonderful group for those interested in the archetypes, hermeticism and the Western Esoteric Tradition, as the Tarot will be explored as a key to this wisdom. $10 fee. About Ami: As a student of the hermetic arts for over 25 years, Ami has a deep background in the Western Esoteric Tradition. Her study and practice includes, yoga and the Tantric tradition, Kabbalah, alchemy, Tarot and ceremonial magick. She is well-versed in many traditions, however, and holds the belief that ones spiritual practice can be an important part of their self care. She enjoys finding common ground with others and cheering them on along their own individual paths to truth and beauty. Intro to Tarot ONLINE with Ami
ZoomJoin Ami Thursday, October 14 on Zoom for an introduction to the classic method of divination – the Tarot! This class is highly recommended if you attend our Tarot Study Group.
In this 2 hour class, we’ll explore their history, learn the methodology behind the cards, and begin to work with them. You’ll start doing readings in the class, and you’ll receive some great spreads to get you started reading for others. This class will be recorded so you will be able to watch it later if you can’t make it to class.
