  • Autumn Tales of the Shapeshifter: The Selkie’s Pelt with Danielle Dulsky

    Initiatory stories open all roads, awakening us to the next possibilities in our lives and allowing us to behold the beauty of our own personal myths. These are the tales that orient us toward the inner wise one, the one with whom we commune in our spells, our art, and our magick. In this two-hour event at Star + Splendor, five-times published author Danielle Dulsky will share the timeless story of The Selkie’s Pelt, inviting participants to engage with the story through writing, reflection, and word-witchery. She will discuss the keys of “mythic witchcraft,” allowing stories to be energetic containers of meaning that can become both teacher and resource in our witchcraft. Participants should bring a journal and writing utensil. $40

    Danielle will be here from 3pm-5pm to sign books. The Selkie’s Pelt event begins at 5pm.

  • Tarot Study Group – 7, 8, 9, 10 of Wands

    Join Ami for a bi-weekly, in-depth exploration of the Tarot. On October 12 at 7pm we will be exploring the minor arcana with the 7-10 of Wands. Each biweekly meeting we will discuss 3-4 of the minor arcana cards in order, followed by the court cards. These session will have components of a spoken teaching, examination of the art, a meditation or “active imagination” session, and discussion of how we can apply the cards’ meaning to our readings and our lives.

    Staying Connected, Grounding, Centering, and being Mindful are important to your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.  

    Join Dawna for a night of playful fun, while you learn several grounding and centering techniques to energetically pull yourself back to a place of balance. This is a preliminary skill for healing and intuitive work that we may do in the world.
