DESCRIPTION:Bring your crafty\, stitchy or witchy project to STAR + SPLENDOR and join the fun! This is a community event for people of all walks of life who love craft and conversation! Meet new people\, see your neighbors\, sip some tea\, share some snacks in our community meditation room every 3rd Wednesday of the month. \nQ: What kind of projects can I bring? \nA: Anything easily transportable that requires minimal set-up. Knitting\, crocheting\, embroidery\, jewelry making\, wreath making\, drawing\, watercolor are just a few ideas! \nThis is the first of (we hope!) many monthly meet ups for local friends. STAR + SPLENDOR will provide tea and coffee. You are invited to BYOB. Come for all or part of the event. $2 suggested donation to the space. We’ll have chairs and tables set up\, but feel free to bring a chair or surface that makes you feel comfortable. \nRSVP on the Facebook event to let us know how many chairs are needed.

SUMMARY:Make Your Own Healing Gemstone Bracelet
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create your own gemstone bracelet\, discuss gemstone properties and color harmony while choosing which pieces of the earth to carry with you throughout your day. Instructor Amy is the creator of The Peachtree intentional jewelry line carried in the shop and will share her love of geology and gemstones in this crafty workshop. \n$35 per person. All materials will be provided. Wear comfortable walking shoes\, as you may take a short walk on the Albany Rail Trail in the spring air for inspiration (weather permitting). Tea and soft drinks provided. \nAmy is in her 11th year as a small business entrepreneur and the jewelry designer behind The Peach Tree. She creates natural stone jewelry with the intention of spreading positive thinking while seeking to maintain a connection to our roots. She has intertwined her interest in geology and gemstone properties to create simple\, classic jewelry\, allowing the stones to present their natural organic charm. Amy’s mission is to help others to gain a greater understanding that we are each a part of the earth we walk upon\, and to help others carry a piece of the earth with them\, every day.
