Women’s Circle
For the month of April we will explore Hildegard von Bingen and “the Greening,” and discuss how we experience this season of vitality and new growth. The Star + Splendor Women’s Circle is a growing community exploring ceremony, meditation and new ideas together. Each month, it is offered on the third Wednesday and will explore topics relevant to the season, women’s spirituality and techniques to apply to our personal practice and daily life. Seekers are welcome! All those identifying as women are welcome to join.

Church of Myth – a monthly mythic convening
CLAIM YOUR SPOT HERE. CHURCH OF MYTH This is new. This is church. A place to feel closer to the red thread of spirit that connects us all. A place to meet other people like you. Church of Myth will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Star + Splendor at 96 Congress Street, Troy, NY, from 4 – 5:30 pm. There will be a myth-based sermon followed by a corresponding ritual. Each month will be different; each mythic tale chosen to reflect the stars, as well as our collective hearts & minds. All are welcome. Coffee hour will follow Church. Come meet & mingle! We’re keeping it just a little traditional over here 😉 CHAPTER 1: PAN Pan, god and protector of shepherds and all untamed, wild places, is one of the greatest and most powerful of the ancient Gods. Depicted as half-man and half-goat, he represents nature in all of its raw, wild strength, and is a symbol of the joyous and often gruesome way nature goes about propagating her own fertility and abundance. As the initiatory meeting of Church of Myth occurs so close to the Summer solstice, Pan is undoubtedly the perfect mythic figure to start with.

Join us for an evening of group-led, agenda-free discussion where we explore death in a safe, life-affirming space. Enjoy some coffee, tea and sweets while connecting with others in deeply impactful conversation. All are welcome! Please register in advance so that we can have enough refreshments for all. About the facilitator, Agapi Ermides: I am a physician trained in adult and pediatric anesthesia, as well as a trained death doula. I have facilitated virtual death cafes since 2020 and have hosted several in-person events and podcasts. In 2022 I trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and worked as a Hospice medical director until early 2024, at which time I completed advanced psychedelic therapy training. My work has shifted into a collaborative practice with Ketamine therapy providers where we support all people improve their mental health, using Ketamine in conjunction with psychotherapy. I am a Reiki master, an intuitive medium, and a yoga and meditation practitioner. In my spare time I advocate for the legalization of psychedelics, specifically psilocybin for its great therapeutic potential, as well as the legalization of medical aid in dying in NY state.
